Al Hassan Engineering Co. recognized at the 2015 International Safety Awards for its HSE practices (06 Sep 2015)

Al Hassan Engineering Company (AHEC) has won an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council in recognition of its commitment to keeping a safe and healthy workplace during the 2014 calendar year.

Al Hassan Engineering Co. gives the highest priority to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) to protect and keep safe its employees and the work place as well as to strive to achieve world class standards in HSE. Keeping this in mind, AHEC has executed a number of projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power and Water sectors without any lost time incidents (LTIs)

While we have been consistently recognized by industry bodies and our customers for our HSE practices, this is the first time that we have been recognized by the British Safety Council at the International Safety Award 2015. Now in their 57th year, the International Safety Awards seek to celebrate and promote the success of the winning organizations and their employees in maintaining a safe and healthy working environment. They are open to businesses, public and third sector bodies of all sizes and sectors. The 2015 award winners have demonstrated to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health. More than 500 organisations won an International Safety Award for 2015, and the winning organisations span all sectors and range from the United Kingdom, Africa, Asia, mainland Europe, the Middle East and the West Indies.
